Product updates, new features, and improvements to Appzi.

v26.1.0 — — Welcome pages for full-page surveys, and data retention you set yourself

Full-page surveys can open with a welcome page, so you can greet respondents and set context before the first question. Portal owners can now choose how long Appzi keeps their feedback.

  • A welcome page block for full-page surveys, the counterpart of the thank-you page.
  • Six new full-page templates — onboarding, churn, CES, feature request, product, and star rating — each opening with a welcome page.
  • Two new popup templates: simple CSAT and simple feedback.
  • Full-page surveys adapt to small screens (480 px and below), and required-field errors no longer shift the question while you answer.
  • On full-page surveys, Next and Send wait for an answer to a required question instead of advancing on their own.
  • The accessible variant gains the mood follow-up question, matching the standard renderer.
  • A new Settings > Compliance page where the portal owner sets data retention: 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, or no automatic deletion. Setting a first period, or shortening one, asks you to confirm, because it deletes feedback already collected.
  • Fixed: the design picker no longer fails to open on NPS surveys.

v26.0 — — Full-page surveys: publish a survey on its own link

Build, theme, preview, and publish a survey that lives on its own shareable URL — no script, no embed. Drop the link in an email, a support reply, or a QR code.

  • NPS and CSAT templates take you to a polished, ready-to-share survey in a few clicks.
  • Respondents answer one question at a time, moving forward with a Next button and dot-stepper progress; an unload guard protects in-progress answers.
  • NPS surveys ask cohort-specific follow-ups — detractors, passives, and promoters each get their own question.
  • Switch an existing full-page survey back to a popup without rebuilding it.
  • Set Live no longer blocks when your site script has not been detected, publishing shows a clear confirmation, and full-page surveys display their shareable URL and published status.
  • Notification emails hide the origin line when the source URL is unknown, and plan-limit warnings stop flagging features that are unlimited on your plan.

v25.4.1 — — Zapier previews use your real data

When you set up a Zapier integration, the sample now reflects your survey's most recent real response instead of placeholder values, so your Zaps map against data that looks like the real thing. Sensible placeholders remain until your first response lands.

v25.4.0 — — Every survey question is its own Zapier field

The Zapier trigger exposes each question as a separate field labeled with your actual question text instead of a cryptic key. Locked and brand-new surveys — including NPS and CSAT — offer sample values, so you can finish wiring an automation before the first response arrives.

v25.3.0 — — Public API v1

Read your feedback and manage tags from your own scripts and tools.

  • Per-portal API keys, created and revoked under Settings → API Keys.
  • Interactive API reference with ready-to-copy code samples in Shell, Node, Python, Ruby, and PHP.
  • A new “No tags” filter surfaces every uncategorized response, in the feedback list and via the API (untagged=true).

v25.2.0 — — Button Link block

Add a call-to-action to any survey: the Button Link block is a styled button that opens an external link in a new tab — send respondents to a booking page, your docs, or a thank-you offer. Style its normal, hover, and focus states; it works in the accessible variant too. This release also fixed sign-up going blank for already-signed-in users.

v25.1.0 — — Accurate usage on Plans & Billing

The Plans and Billing page shows your real page-view usage and a realistic monthly projection instead of always reading “0”, and the over-limit warning appears exactly when you exceed your plan's allotment.

v25.0.0 — — Accessibility Mode, rebuilt

The accessible version that a pop-up survey's Accessibility Mode icon opens is rebuilt on native semantic HTML.

  • In Accessibility Mode, screen readers announce questions, errors, and page changes, with errors tied to their fields.
  • Accessibility Mode ships with built-in translations across 21 languages.
  • Auto-popup surveys no longer steal keyboard focus from whatever the visitor is typing.
  • Two new answer blocks: A-or-B buttons and an emoji button bar.
  • Publishing and feedback ingestion validate survey configs roughly 1,000× faster.
  • Exports honor your active filters, and plan-masked feedback can no longer leak into CSV or Excel files.
  • A new centered popup layout for full-page surveys, with rounded corners and an optional backdrop.

v24.4.1 — — Conditional buttons and flexible layouts

  • Survey buttons can stay disabled until required answers are given.
  • Full-page layout rework, and toggle-button lists that wrap, fill, or size uniformly at any width.

v24.3.2 — — Excel exports open cleanly

Large feedback exports respect Excel's cell limits and open without errors.

v24.3.0 — — OR conditions in survey logic

  • Show/hide logic can combine conditions with OR, in the builder and in the running survey.
  • A new Accessibility docs page, plus refreshed Screenshots, Integrations, Events, and Triggering docs.

v24.2.6 — — Accessible mode keeps the mood question

The accessible variant no longer drops the mood block, and its focus behavior matches the standard survey.

Docs v2 — — New documentation site

Rebuilt docs load much faster, with better search, syntax highlighting, and dark mode.

v24.2.5 — — Accessibility Mode preview and a system font

  • An Accessibility Mode preview in the builder shows the accessible version before you publish.
  • A native system-font option lets surveys match the host site's typography.

v24.2.4 — — Keyboard support for the feedback button

Keyboard-only visitors can open the feedback launcher, with visible focus states. Deleted feedback is now purged on a schedule instead of lingering soft-deleted.

v24.2.1 — — More languages

Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, Ukrainian, and Chinese (Traditional) join the built-in translation set.

v24.1.0 — — Runs under strict Content-Security-Policy

  • Surveys work on sites with a strict CSP — no inline-style blockers.
  • Launcher and survey code load separately, so pages load less JavaScript up front.
  • Screenshots captured on iPhones land on the right part of the page.
